Return and Shipping Policies

Privacy
We respect your privacy and will never abuse the personal information that you provide us. We will send offers and product updates to our customers periodically. On all mailings we will include a real email address and our customers can simply respond and ask not to be mailed again if they do not appreciate the information. We will never sell or give our customers' data to any other party. Your credit card and financial information are not stored on our servers - they are stored on the (very secure) servers of authorize.net, the largest payment processor in the United States.

Returns and Exchanges
You may return an item for refund or replacement within 30 days of the shipment date (remember to include all accessories - manuals, remotes, antenna tails). Returns must include the original packaging and be in like new condition. Please ensure returns are placed in packaging that provides adequate protection from theft and damage. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable unless the item is defective. All returns must be accomplished by a copy of the receipt and a written description of the reason for the return (and notice of whether you desire a refund or replacement). You *must* email us ( sales@tss-radio.com) or call us to request a return before sending it to us. Within the email or call make sure you let us know why you are returning the item. When sending back your return we recommend sending an item with either a tracking number or a delivery confirmation number to insure it safely arrives. When we receive it we will refund the credit card that it was initially charged on. Keep in mind that the credit card companies can take up to 5-15 business days to fully process the refund before it shows up on your statement.

You may want to insure your return; we cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns.

If you are returning an item from Canada, for any reason, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us as well as the cost of shipping the replacement item (if a replacement item is needed).

Manufacturer Warranties (for defective products returned after 30 days)
Most of the products we sell are covered by manufacturer warranties that are outlined in detail in the product documentation and can be returned if defective. Contact us via phone or email and we will provide you with instructions you need to return the product to the manufacturer. Note for Canadian customers - many manufacturers will not accept warranty items from Canada. In that case, we are willing to help facilitate the return to the manufacturer from our location in the U.S. - but you will be responsible for all shipping charges.

Sales Tax
We are required to collect 10.25% sales tax from Illinois residents.

Shipping Policies
TSS-Radio will ship out most products ordered prior to 5 p.m. (Central time) the same day (although not always). UPS and DHL orders DO NOT SHIP out on the weekends while most USPS orders will ship out on Saturdays. Note: Not all items are guaranteed to ship out the same day. Feel free to call (773)772-4340 between 9 a.m. (Central time) and 7 p.m. (Central time) to inquire whether your item will be shipped out that day. UPS Next Business Day Air service shipped on Fridays is scheduled to be delivered on Mondays. In addition 2nd Business Day Air shipped on Thursdays will arrive on Mondays as well. Since Saturday is not a business day UPS will not deliver on Saturdays.

In addition to our regular shipping cutoff days and times (listed above) TSS-Radio does not ship on the following holidays:

  • New Year's Eve
  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • The day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day

We are not responsible for the actions of our carriers (UPS, DHL and USPS) but if you have trouble with them, we can usually help.

We ship from Chicago, IL.

Installation and damage to your vehicle
We cannot be held responsible for any damage that you, or a third party installation company, does to your vehicle or home while installing a product purchased from TSS-Radio.

Canada Shipping
We ship to Canada using USPS / CanadaPost (they work together) as well as DHL Express and UPS Express. Please keep in mind that the Canadian government charges import taxes which are usually $8 + 7% - we don't collect these, CanadaPost or DHL Express will collect them when they deliver - these fees are *in addition* to the shipping charges that you pay us (which we pay to the post office and DHL). We highly recommend shipping with DHL Express due to the ease of tracking, speed, and lack of brokerage fees in the same way that UPS and FedEx have in Canada.
We are not willing to mark anything as a gift to get it through customs without tariffs.
