This is a direct replacement for the S50 home kit USB cable. This cable connects to the Home Dock, and is NOT the same USB cable that connects directly to the S50. This item requires the S50 Home Dock .

Q: Is the S50 Home Dock USB Cable the same as the USB cable that plugs directly into the S50 unit?
A: No, it is a different USB cable and can ONLY be plugged into the S50 Home Dock.

Q: Is this the same USB cable that came with my S50?
A: No, this is the USB cable that comes with the S50 Home Kit. The difference is that this cable will ONLY work if you have the S50 Home Dock and home AC Adapter. If you do have these Items also, you will be able to update and transfer files between Your S50 and computer.
