Accord 1994-1997 Custom Mount

Pro Fit International Vehicle Specific Mounts are made specifically to fit each vehicle. They use existing dash fittings so there is no need to alter the interior of your vehicle and they blend in well for a much cleaner and more finished look. The picture above shows where it installs in your car and included below are the installation instructions to give you an idea of how difficult it is to install into your vehicle (also, the pdf manual is available above by clicking on the pdf icon). On some cars the VSM can be easily installed without tools in a few minutes, in some cars it requires more effort.

We highly recommend using the Pro-Fit Easy Swivel in addition to the mount for clearance and tilting.

TOOLS REQUIRED: Phillips screwdriver, hook tool, marking pen, 5/64 drill bit, drill, protective cloth.
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSMTM mount, instructions, one (1) #8x3/8screw.
LOCATION: In upper right corner of radio cavity.
STEP 1.
Begin by removing center console. Remove drink cup holder.
Underneath are three (3) screws. Remove these screws. Inside
console, remove small access cover in bottom, remove two (2)
more screws. Remove ash tray and one (1) screw behind it.
Carefully lift and remove entire console and set aside. Remove
two (2) additional screws located in front of the shifter which hold
the radio trim bezel in place. NOTE: Use protective cloth in
between trim bezel and dash to prevent scratching.
STEP 2.
Insert hook tool behind trim bezel in upper right hand corner. Pull
back to release clip. Repeat on left side. Grasp bezel with hands
and work loose. Let hang on left side. (Do not disconnect
wiring.) Remove screw securing upper right side of radio.
Attach phone hang-up cup onto Pro.Fit VSMTM. Position upper
mounting tab of Pro.Fit VSMTM over screw hole, hold in desired
position, and mark starter hole through lower tab on Pro.Fit
VSMTM. Set Pro.Fit VSMTM aside.
STEP 3.
Using 5/64 drill bit and drill, CAREFULLY drill a starter hole
for provided screw. Align Pro.Fit VSMTM over screw holes.
Insert and tighten factory screw and provided screw, securing
mount.
STEP 4.
Reinstall trim bezel and factory screws in front of shifter.
Reposition console, replace all screws, and tighten.
