Amigo 1998-2004 Custom Mount

Pro Fit International Vehicle Specific Mounts are made specifically to fit each vehicle. They use existing dash fittings so there is no need to alter the interior of your vehicle and they blend in well for a much cleaner and more finished look. The picture above shows where it installs in your car and included below are the installation instructions to give you an idea of how difficult it is to install into your vehicle (also, the pdf manual is available above by clicking on the pdf icon). On some cars the VSM can be easily installed without tools in a few minutes, in some cars it requires more effort.

We highly recommend using the Pro-Fit Easy Swivel in addition to the mount for clearance and tilting.

TOOLS REQUIRED: #2 Phillips screwdriver, hook tool.
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSMTM, instructions.
LOCATION: To the right of the radio.

STEP 1.
Begin by applying the emergency brake. Turn the ignition to the
on position and put transmission into neutral. Remove the ash-
tray by simultaneously pulling out and up. Set ashtray aside.
Locate the Phillips screw inside empty ashtray cavity. Remove
screw with your #2 Phillips screwdriver. Set screw aside.

STEP 2.
Remove the trim bezel that surrounds the radio by inserting hook
tool in the upper right corner of radio behind the trim bezel. Pull
toward you to release the first clip. Perform this same action in the
upper left corner of the bezel. Once the two (2) top clips are
released grasp the bezel with both hands on the left and right
sides. Pull toward you to release two (2) more clips. Do the same
on the bottom of the bezel releasing the two (2) bottom clips.
Disconnect all wiring to the bezel. Set bezel aside.

STEP 3.
Locate two (2) Phillips screws to the right of the radio. Remove
the top screw with your #2 Phillips screwdriver. Align the top hole
in the Pro.Fit VSMTM with the top right screw hole. Insert the
Phillips factory screw and tighten.

STEP 4.
Re-assemble the dash in reverse order securing all clips and
wiring. Install the phone holder onto the Pro.Fit VSMTM.
