Astro Van 1990-1995 Custom Mount

Pro Fit International Vehicle Specific Mounts are made specifically to fit each vehicle. They use existing dash fittings so there is no need to alter the interior of your vehicle and they blend in well for a much cleaner and more finished look. The picture above shows where it installs in your car and included below are the installation instructions to give you an idea of how difficult it is to install into your vehicle (also, the pdf manual is available above by clicking on the pdf icon). On some cars the VSM can be easily installed without tools in a few minutes, in some cars it requires more effort.


We highly recommend using the Pro-Fit Easy Swivel in addition to the mount for clearance and tilting.



TOOLS REQUIRED: #2 Phillips screw driver, 3/8" open end wrench, 3/16" drill bit and drill, marking pen.
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSMTM, instructions, two (2) #10x3/8 screws with Nylok nuts.
LOCATION: Upper left corner of the radio bezel.
STEP 1.
Begin by removing the trim bezel that surrounds the radio and air
vents. To do this locate and remove two (2) Phillips screws just
below the radio using the Phillips screwdriver. Set screws aside.
Insert the hook tool behind the bezel in the upper left corner of the
bezel. Pull toward you releasing upper left clip. Insert the hook
tool approximately in the upper middle section of the bezel releas-
ing top middle clip. Perform this same action in the upper right
corner of the bezel releasing upper right clip. Disconnect all
wiring to bezel and set bezel aside.
STEP 2.
Position the Pro.Fit VSMTM in the upper left corner of the cavity.
The mount will fit snugly along the flat spot of plastic and the
indent where the trim bezel rests. Use the marking pen to mark
two (2) spots for pilot holes. Set mount aside. Carefully drill two
(2) pilot holes using the 3/16 drill bit and drill.
STEP 3.
Place the Pro.Fit VSMTM over the pilot holes making sure all
holes are aligned. Insert the two (2) provided mounting screws.
Insert the Nylok nuts onto the mounting screws from the back
side of the mount behind the plastic mounting surface. Place the
3/8 open end wrench on the Nylok nuts and tighten the screws
with the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
STEP 4.
Install the phone holder onto the Pro.Fit VSMTM. Re-assemble
the dash in reverse order securing all wiring and screws.
