Pro Fit International Vehicle Specific Mounts are made specifically to fit each vehicle. They use existing dash fittings so there is no need to alter the interior of your vehicle and they blend in well for a much cleaner and more finished look. The picture above shows where it installs in your car and included below are the installation instructions to give you an idea of how difficult it is to install into your vehicle (also, the pdf manual is available above by clicking on the pdf icon). On some cars the VSM can be easily installed without tools in a few minutes, in some cars it requires more effort.
Since there are so many vehicle specific mounts, we drop ship them from the manufacturer. Therefore, they ship separate from the rest of your order from Minneapolis.
TOOLS REQUIRED: # 1 Phillips screwdriver, 10 mm socket & driver, protective cloth.
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSMTM, instructions.
LOCATION: To the right of the radio.
STEP 1.
Begin by removing the ashtray by pushing on the silver tab and
pulling out. Set the ashtray aside. Next, remove the climate con-
trol/radio trim bezel by grasping it inside the ashtray cavity and
pulling toward you. Slowly continue working your way around
the bezel. A total of seven clips will be released, two on the right,
three on the left, and two above the radio. It is not necessary to
disconnect the wiring attached to the bezel. Let the bezel hang to
the left side. NOTE: Use protective cloth in between the hanging
bezel and dash to prevent scratching.
STEP 2.
Using a 10mm socket & driver and a #1 Phillips screwdriver,
locate and remove one Phillips and one 10mm factory screws to
the right and slightly above climate control. Set the screws aside.
Place Pro.Fit VSMTM over the screw holes. Replace the screws
and tighten.
STEP 3.
Re-install the trim bezel. Attach the phone holder onto the Pro.Fit
VSMTM.
