Pro Fit International Vehicle Specific Mounts are made specifically to fit each vehicle. They use existing dash fittings so there is no need to alter the interior of your vehicle and they blend in well for a much cleaner and more finished look. The picture above shows where it installs in your car and included below are the installation instructions to give you an idea of how difficult it is to install into your vehicle (also, the pdf manual is available above by clicking on the pdf icon). On some cars the VSM can be easily installed without tools in a few minutes, in some cars it requires more effort.
We highly recommend using the Pro-Fit Easy Swivel in addition to the mount for clearance and tilting.
TOOLS REQUIRED:#2 Phillips screwdriver.
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSMTMt, Instructions.
LOCATION: Right side of climate control unit.
STEP 1.
Remove four (4) screws that hold instrument cluster trim panel.
Two (2) screws are up near the speedometer, one (1) just above
cigarette lighter and one (1) just above head light switch. Gently
grasp trim panel and pull to release clips. Loosen just enough to
get at the two (2) screws to the right side of the climate control.
STEP 2.
Remove the two (2) screw at the right side of climate control unit.
Attach hang-up cup onto Pro.Fit VSMTM.
STEP 3.
Position Pro.Fit VSMTM behind the climate control unit. Align
the two (2) screw holes, replace screws and tighten. Reinstall the
instrument cluster trim panel and replace four (4) screws.
STEP 4.
Replace small trim insert under steering column.
