Pro Fit International Vehicle Specific Mounts are made specifically to fit each vehicle. They use existing dash fittings so there is no need to alter the interior of your vehicle and they blend in well for a much cleaner and more finished look. The picture above shows where it installs in your car and included below are the installation instructions to give you an idea of how difficult it is to install into your vehicle (also, the pdf manual is available above by clicking on the pdf icon). On some cars the VSM can be easily installed without tools in a few minutes, in some cars it requires more effort.
We highly recommend using the Pro-Fit Easy Swivel in addition to the mount for clearance and tilting.
TOOLS REQUIRED: #2 Phillips screwdriver, one (1) T-20 Torx driver.
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit custom mount, instructions.
LOCATION: To the right of the cigarette lighter.
STEP 1.
Begin by removing the cowling that is located just below the
steering column. Using your Phillips screwdriver remove two (2)
Phillips screws that hold this cowling in place, Both screws are
located towards the bottom of the cowling on the right and left of
the steering column. Set screws aside and Let the cowling hang.
STEP 2.
Using your Torx driver, remove eight (8) Torx screws that hold
the dash trim Bezel in place. There are four (4) Torx screws on
each side of the steering wheel. Grasp the trim bezel and remove
it from the dash. Set bezel aside.
STEP 3.
Remove two (2) Phillips screws that hold the cigarette lighter in
place. Pull the lighter out towards you about 3/4. Position the
Pro.Fit VSMTM behind the lighter, aligning the screw holes. Place
the cigarette lighter back into position. Insert the factory screws
and tighten.
STEP 4.
Reinstall the dash in reverse order securing all screws. Install your
hang-up cup onto the Pro.Fit VSMTM.
