The XM5-FRDW will allow direct audio input of the XM 5 Volt units, as well as the SIRIUS 5 Volt Units (SIRIUS S50 and new Sportster 4) through the CD Changer port of the OEM Ford radio for optimal sound quality. The built-in 5-volt power supply of the XM5-FRDW powers the Satellite Radio unit directly, eliminating the need to use the external cigarette lighter adapter.

  • 12-Pin data cable in trunk/rear Radio Series 858 (Oval) – Use XM5-FRDF at H/U if not prewired.

  • Escape Hybrid 2006 - seat Navigation radio only (takes place of OEM changer).
  • Escort 1997-2003 - Oval-Faced radio - use XM5-FRDF at headunit if not pre-wired.

  • Quest 2001-2003 - For Vehicles with factory video system.
