GMLAN-POD/S Interface for iPod with auxiliary input for XM ready GM LAN-Bus Radios. (Requires Application-Specific Harness (Sold Separately)).
The GMLAN-POD/S digital protocol converter allows you to interface your iPod directly to the XM GM LAN-BUS Radios. Using this interface and application-specific harness allows you to retain the factory satellite radio, while providing you with the most interactive OEM iPod interface in the industry. The GMLAN-POD/S also provides an additional auxiliary input.
The OEM Radio's Satellite radio controls will be utilized to operate the iPod, allowing you the benefits of:
- Individual search by artist, album, playlist, song, etc.
- Ability to display the following text fields
- Artist Name
- Song Title
- Album Title
- Playlist Name
- Genre
- Direct Audio connection for optimal sound.
- Charging of the iPod
- An additional auxiliary input
- The option of using the iPod controls.
- Retains factory satellite radio.
Compatible with the following iPod models:
