Vehicle specific information:

  • Radio must have external CD Changer capabilities.
  • Not compatible with factory external CD changer present. Takes place of changer.
  • Not compatible with factory RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment) present.
  • Connects to 9-pin connector at headunit.


COMPATIBILITY, SPECS AND DOCS

Note:

  • Not compatible with single DIN 6-disc (in-dash) slave CD Changer; GM9-AUX takes the place of this 6-disc slave CD Changer.
  • GM radios 2000 and earlier are not capable of controlling two units; therefore, these radios will need to have the slave unit disconnected.
  • Camaro radio must be AM/FM/CASS radio.
  • Not compatible with 1995 -1999 AM/FM/CD radios.
  • Not compatible with vehicles equipped with in-dash 6-disc slave units.
  • Pontiac radios AM/FM/SINGLE CD headunits use 9-Pin data port for an OEM cassette deck and are NOT compatible with the GM9-AUX.
  • Pontiac radios 2000 and earlier are not capable of controlling two units; therefore, these radios will need to have the slave unit disconnected in order to use the GM9-AUX.
