Easy to install vehicle specific mount from Panavise will give your SIRIUS install a clean and sharp look. All vehicle specific mounts come with instructions, but most require at least some disassembly of the dashboard of your vehicle and about 30-60 minutes time if you are reasonably technical. Installation does not require any special skills, but if you are not comfortable disassembling your dashboard you should consider having a local installer professionally install it for you.
We highly recommend using the Panavise Tipper in addition to the mount for clearance and tilting.
MOUNTING LOCATION: Right side of radio J R
TOOLS REQUIRED: Dash Tool, Hook Tool 9/32' Socket Driver
HARDWARE INCLUDED: None
STEP #1: With Hook/Dash Tool remove the lower cover plate by inserting Hook Tool into the upper right then left corner, pulling to release (1) clip on each side. Tilt it out and pull up to remove. Set cover aside.
STEP #2: To remove the top cover above the radio. With the Hook Tool, lift up on the fron of the top cover to release (1) clip on each side. tilt up the front of the cover and pull it towards you to release. Set it aside.
STEP #3: With 9/32" socket driver remove the (4) screws, (2) top and (2) bottom. with your hands starting at the top of the radio, remove the bezel that goes from the top of the radio down to below the switches and power outlet. there are (6) total clips.
STEP #4: W 9/32" socket driver remove the (1) screw below right of radio Or to the right of the air vent. Place the InDash by PanaVise Mount over the screw hole and replace the screw. Replace the bezel starting at the bottom, securing (6) total clips and (4) screws. Install radio top and bottom cover in reverse order of removal in steps 1 & 3
