Pro Fit International Vehicle Specific Mounts are made specifically to fit each vehicle. They use existing dash fittings so there is no need to alter the interior of your vehicle and they blend in well for a much cleaner and more finished look. The picture above shows where it installs in your car and included below are the installation instructions to give you an idea of how difficult it is to install into your vehicle (also, the pdf manual is available above by clicking on the pdf icon). On some cars the VSM can be easily installed without tools in a few minutes, in some cars it requires more effort.
We highly recommend using the Pro-Fit Easy Swivel in addition to the mount for clearance and tilting.
TOOLS REQUIRED: #2 Phillips screw driver, 9/32" open end wrench
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSMTM, instructions.
LOCATION: To the right of the radio.
STEP 1.
Begin by removing the trim panel below the steering column. To
do this, remove the two (2) Phillips screws located on top left and
top right of steering column. At bottom of panel, remove 3-4 fas-
teners using Phillips screwdriver. Let trim panel hang. Detach
large trim bezel surrounding entire dash (radio, climate control,
instrument panel, gauges, lighting, etc.) by working your fingers
under panel, starting to the right of the radio and working around
to release clips.
STEP 2.
Hold the right side of trim bezel out away from the dash.
Remove 9/32 bolt to the right of the radio. Using the top hole in
Pro.Fit VSMTM, place Pro.Fit VSMTM over the top of bolt hole.
Bottom hole in mount will align with the centering pin. Insert and
tighten bolt. The Pro.Fit VSMTM will come out between the trim
bezel and the radio.
STEP 3.
Reinstall dash trim panel. Install hang up cup onto Pro.Fit
VSMTM. Reinstall trim panel below steering column.
