Pro Fit International Vehicle Specific Mounts are made specifically to fit each vehicle. They use existing dash fittings so there is no need to alter the interior of your vehicle and they blend in well for a much cleaner and more finished look. The picture above shows where it installs in your car and included below are the installation instructions to give you an idea of how difficult it is to install into your vehicle (also, the pdf manual is available above by clicking on the pdf icon). On some cars the VSM can be easily installed without tools in a few minutes, in some cars it requires more effort.

Since there are so many vehicle specific mounts, we drop ship them from the manufacturer. Therefore, they ship separate from the rest of your order from Minneapolis.

TOOLS REQUIRED: # 2 Phillips screwdriver, protective cloth, 5/64 drill bit and drill, marking pen,
dash trim removal tool DM-40-22, 10mm & 7mm nut driver
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSMTM, instructions, three (3) #10 x 5/8 screws.
LOCATION: Below climate control.
STEP 1.
Insert the trim removal tool behind the trim bezel below the
steering wheel. Pry outward to remove small piece of trim.
Set aside. Next, remove four (4) 10mm bolts
from the bottom of the lower dash panel. There are two (2)
on the left side, and two on the right side.
Remove the 7mm bolt that is directly above the dual power
outlet on the passenger side of the dash. Remove lower
panel by pulling outward on the lower panel until all retainer
clips are released. Set panel aside.
STEP 2.
Next, the dash bezel needs to be partially removed. Grab the
lower left corner of the dash bezel and pull outward to
release a clip.Work your hands around the dash,
pulling outward until all clips are released. Let the dash
bezel hang down. It is not necessary to completely remove
the dash or disconnect any wiring.
STEP 3.
Place the Pro.Fit VSM against the dash, directly below the
climate control fan knob. The VSM"s contours
will follow the contours of the dash. Align the right side of
the VSM against the clip holder. The top of the VSM will
be directly below the climate control knob, but will not
interfere with it. Using the VSM as a guide, mark the
location of the three (3) screw holes. Set VSM aside.
STEP 4.
Drill three (3) pilot holes at the marked location using a
5/64 drill bit and drill. Align the VSM over the pilot holes,
insert three (3) # 10 x 5/8 screws and tighten. Reassemble
the dash in reverse order, remembering to reconnect the
wiring to the back of the vent.
