Pro Fit International Vehicle Specific Mounts are made specifically to fit each vehicle. They use existing dash fittings so there is no need to alter the interior of your vehicle and they blend in well for a much cleaner and more finished look. The picture above shows where it installs in your car and included below are the installation instructions to give you an idea of how difficult it is to install into your vehicle (also, the pdf manual is available above by clicking on the pdf icon). On some cars the VSM can be easily installed without tools in a few minutes, in some cars it requires more effort.
We highly recommend using the Pro-Fit Easy Swivel in addition to the mount for clearance and tilting.
TOOLS REQUIRED: # 1Phillips screwdriver, small flat head screwdriver, hook tool, 5/16
open end wrench.
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSMTM, instructions.
LOCATION: To the right of the radio.
STEP 1.
Begin by removing ashtray by pushing on lever and sliding out.
Remove two (2) Phillips screws located inside the ashtray cavity.
Just above the radio and inside the top of the bezel cubby hole,
two (2) tabs must be released. Use the small screwdriver to pull
right tab down to release while at the same time, use the interior
hook tool to pull left tab down. Continue pulling to slide left tab
down. Continue pulling to slide cubby hole out. Set aside.
STEP 2.
Remove two (2) additional Phillips screws behind cubby hole.
With fingers pull on top section of radio trim bezel, working
around to release three (3) clips [two (2) on left and one (1) in
middle.] Do not
disconnect wiring. Let hang aside.
STEP 3.
Using the 5/16 open end wrench, loosen (do not remove) two (2)
hex head bolts located to the right of the radio, running horizon-
tally toward the glove compartment. Loosen just enough to slide
the Pro.Fit VSMTM behind the bolt heads. Slide Pro.Fit VSMTM
behind bolts and tighten.
STEP 4.
Reassemble bezel. Replace screws and ashtray. Attach hang-up
cup onto Pro.Fit VSMTM.
