Pro Fit International Vehicle Specific Mounts are made specifically to fit each vehicle. They use existing dash fittings so there is no need to alter the interior of your vehicle and they blend in well for a much cleaner and more finished look. The picture above shows where it installs in your car and included below are the installation instructions to give you an idea of how difficult it is to install into your vehicle (also, the pdf manual is available above by clicking on the pdf icon). On some cars the VSM can be easily installed without tools in a few minutes, in some cars it requires more effort.
We highly recommend using the Pro-Fit Easy Swivel in addition to the mount for clearance and tilting.
TOOLS REQUIRED: 9/32 socket and ratchet.
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSMTM and instructions.
LOCATION: Right side of temperature control.
STEP 1.
Begin by removing the dash trim bezel by grasping the left side
of the bezel and pulling outward. Work your way carefully
toward the radio. As you do this, you will be releasing eight (8)
clips: three (3) along the top; four (4) along the bottom; and one
(1) in the middle. Set trim bezel aside.
STEP 2.
Locate and remove the bolt on the right side of the temperature
control box. Place Pro.Fit VSMTM behind the control box, align-
ing centering pin and bolt hole. Reinsert and tighten factory bolt.
STEP 3.
Replace radio trim bezel. Install hang-up cup onto Pro.Fit
VSMTM.
