Buick Riviera (console shift only) 1995-1998 Custom Mount

Pro Fit International Vehicle Specific Mounts are made specifically to fit each vehicle. They use existing dash fittings so there is no need to alter the interior of your vehicle and they blend in well for a much cleaner and more finished look. The picture above shows where it installs in your car and included below are the installation instructions to give you an idea of how difficult it is to install into your vehicle (also, the pdf manual is available above by clicking on the pdf icon). On some cars the VSM can be easily installed without tools in a few minutes, in some cars it requires more effort.



We highly recommend using the Pro-Fit Easy Swivel in addition to the mount for clearance and tilting.



TOOLS REQUIRED: 5/64 drill bit, drill, Phillips screwdriver, hook tool, utility knife, small
standard screwdriver.
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSMTM, two (2) 8x1/2 screws, instructions.
LOCATION: Right of the ashtray.
STEP 1.
Begin by removing trim bezel surrounding ashtray and CD play-
er/cubby hole. The trim bezel is held in place by four (4) clips:
two (2) parallel to ash tray and two (2) parallel to CD player or
cubby hole. Open ashtray door, exposing the ash tray. Insert hook
tool between trim bezel and dash on sides, pulling on hook tool to
release clips. Continue, releasing all four clips. Disconnect the
cigarette lighter wiring harness. Remove trim bezel and set aside.
STEP 2.
Place the Pro.Fit VSMTM to the right of rectangular slot (located
on right side of cavity) to the right of cigarette lighter. Some vehi-
cles will have an excess of vinyl dash covering material in the
adjacent corner to the tab that is attached with staples. Some
vehicles do not use staples in attaching this vinyl dash covering.
If so, remove excess materials and staples (if used) so that mount
will fit tightly into corner before marking or drilling pilot holes.
Remove as little material as possible to assure a snug fit. Hold
the Pro.Fit VSMTM in corner flush with top of tab. Mark holes
as close to corner as possible and drill pilot holes for screws.
STEP 3.
Install the hang up cup onto the Pro.Fit VSMTM. Place the
Pro.Fit VSMTM into position. Insert and tighten provided screws.
STEP 4.
Reinstall cigarette lighter wiring harness. Reinstall trim bezel.
