Seville SLS STS 1998-2004 Custom Mount

Pro Fit International Vehicle Specific Mounts are made specifically to fit each vehicle. They use existing dash fittings so there is no need to alter the interior of your vehicle and they blend in well for a much cleaner and more finished look. The picture above shows where it installs in your car and included below are the installation instructions to give you an idea of how difficult it is to install into your vehicle (also, the pdf manual is available above by clicking on the pdf icon). On some cars the VSM can be easily installed without tools in a few minutes, in some cars it requires more effort.



We highly recommend using the Pro-Fit Easy Swivel in addition to the mount for clearance and tilting.



TOOLS REQUIRED: #2 Phillips Screwdriver, small flat head screwdriver, hook tool, 9/32 socket with driver
and extension, 5/64 drill bit & drill, marking pen, protective cloth.
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSM®, instructions, three (3) #8x1/2 screws.
LOCATION: To the right of the radio.
STEP 1. Apply the emergency brake and turn the ignition to the (on) position.
Shift the transmission into neutral. Remove the bezel that surrounds the trans-
mission shifter. This bezel also has the ashtray integrated into it. To do this,
insert the hook tool behind the right rear corner of the bezel, between the bezel
and the center console. Pull upward to release one (1) clip. Perform this same
action on the rear left corner releasing a second (2) clip. Insert the hook tool
behind the bezel just to the right of the shifter. Pull upward to release a third (3)
clip. Perform this same action on the left side of the shifter releasing a fourth (4)
clip. Grasp the bezel and pull up and to the rear of the vehicle sliding the bezel
out of its cavity. NOTE: When disconnecting the wiring that is attached to
the bezel, use caution releasing the clips as they are very fragile. The wiring
is also attached to the bezel with duct tape. This tape needs to be removed.
Work the bezel over the shifter knob and the set bezel aside.
STEP 2. Using the 9/32 socket, driver and extension locate and remove two
(2) 9/32 hex head screws below the climate control. Set screws aside. Locate a
trim piece that sits above the radio. CAREFULLY insert the small flat screw-
driver in the seam between the radio and trim piece on the right side. CARE-
FULLY pry up and outward to release one (1) clip. Perform this same action on
the left side releasing a second clip. Set trim piece aside. Locate and remove one
(1) 9/32 hex head screw above the radio. Set screw aside. Lay a protective cloth
on the center console. Grasp the radio/climate control module and lift it up and
out of its cavity. Let the module rest on the center console on the protective
cloth. DO NOT DISCONNECT THE WIRING TO THE RADIO!
STEP 3. Inside the module cavity locate a flat section of black plastic on the
right side. Position the Pro.Fit VSM® over this flat section approximately one
inch down from the module cavity. Using the holes in the Pro.Fit VSM® as a
guide, mark three (3) spots for pilot holes. Set mount aside. Using the 5/64 drill
bit and drill, carefully drill three (3) pilot holes. Position the Pro.Fit VSM® over
these pilot holes making sure all holes are aligned. Insert the provided screws
and tighten with the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
STEP 4. Re-assemble the dash in reverse order securing all wiring, screws and
clips. Install phone holder cup onto the Pro.Fit VSM®. This completes the
installation of your Pro.Fit VSM®.
