The Original Sportster SPR1 features an easy-to-read, 6-line display tells you the channel name and number, category, artist name, song title, and time simultaneously. To suit your environment, you can control the contrast, dimming, and color (amber or green) of the display. It allows you to program up to 30 presets of your favorite streams, as well as search by stream, artist name, song title, or category. With the touch of a button you can switch between the traffic and weather reports for your city and any of the other music, news, or entertainment channels.
NOTE: Although these kits are brand new, this model was originally released in 2005 and has since been discontinued. It is ideal as a replacement for your original Sportster, Sportster Replay or Streamer Replay receivers or as a secondary radio.
NOTE 2: These receivers were manufactured after the FCC regulations on FM Transmission were changed. They have significantly weaker FM Transmitters than older radios manufactured before that regulation.
They WILL NOT perform with the same strength when tuned in over an FM frequency wirelessly. It is highly recommended that you connect the audio directly to your car stereo via an Auxiliary Cable, Auxiliary Input Adapter, Cassette Tape Adapter, or FM Direct Adapter.
