SIRIUS Traffic provides traffic data to vehicles over our nationwide satellite radio network. This includes updated traffic information on accidents, scheduled road closings, traffic flow and other traffic-related incidents. Since the service is integrated with a vehicle’s navigation system, SIRIUS Traffic can help drivers pick the fastest route based on real-time traffic conditions.
By connecting to a SIRIUS Satellite Radio Plus Traffic Tuner (SIR-SC10T), you can receive traffic information and display the information on the map screen. Also, you can take the received traffic information into account when searching for routes.
Note: This unit is only compatible with Panasonic aftermarket radios.
