Pro Fit International Vehicle Specific Mounts are made specifically to fit each vehicle. They use existing dash fittings so there is no need to alter the interior of your vehicle and they blend in well for a much cleaner and more finished look. The picture above shows where it installs in your car and included below are the installation instructions to give you an idea of how difficult it is to install into your vehicle (also, the pdf manual is available above by clicking on the pdf icon). On some cars the VSM can be easily installed without tools in a few minutes, in some cars it requires more effort.
We highly recommend using the Pro-Fit Easy Swivel in addition to the mount for clearance and tilting.
TOOLS REQUIRED: Hook tool, 7mm socket and driver.
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSMTM, instructions.
LOCATION: Right of radio.
STEP 1. Begin by partially removing the trim bezel from around
the radio and climate control cluster. Insert a hook tool in the
lower right corner of the bezel and gently pull towards you,
releasing five (5) retainer clips. Working your way up the right
side, pull back the bezel enough to expose the 7mm bolt located
to the right of the radio. (See photo # 2). It is not necessary to
completely remove the bezel. Remove the 7mm bolt.
STEP 2. After removing the factory 7mm bolt, pull the radio
mounting bracket forward enough to allow you to slide the
Pro.Fit VSMTM between the radio bracket and the dash. Place the
top hole of the VSMTMover the radio alignment pin and the bot-
tom hole over the radio bolt hole. Insert the 7mm factory bolt and
tighten.
STEP 3. Reassemble the trim bezel in reverse order.
