Pro Fit International Vehicle Specific Mounts are made specifically to fit each vehicle. They use existing dash fittings so there is no need to alter the interior of your vehicle and they blend in well for a much cleaner and more finished look. The picture above shows where it installs in your car and included below are the installation instructions to give you an idea of how difficult it is to install into your vehicle (also, the pdf manual is available above by clicking on the pdf icon). On some cars the VSM can be easily installed without tools in a few minutes, in some cars it requires more effort.
We highly recommend using the Pro-Fit Easy Swivel in addition to the mount for clearance and tilting.
TOOLS REQUIRED: 8mm socket, ratchet.
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSMTM, instructions.
LOCATION: To the right of the radio.
STEP 1.
Begin by removing the trim bezel that surrounds the radio, cli-
mate control, and cup holder. To do this, pull the cup holder out
slightly and work your fingers under bezel. Bezel is held in by
four (4) clips [two (2) on each side] that will be released by
pulling bezel. Set bezel aside.
STEP 2.
Using the 8mm socket, remove upper right hand bolt that holds
radio in place. Install hang-up cup onto Pro.Fit VSMTM. Insert
factory screw through Pro.Fit VSMTM and back into original hole
while aligning centering pin with lower hole in Pro.Fit VSMTM.
Tighten screw.
STEP 3.
Reinstall trim. Install hang-up cup onto Pro.Fit VSMTM.
