Pro Fit International Vehicle Specific Mounts are made specifically to fit each vehicle. They use existing dash fittings so there is no need to alter the interior of your vehicle and they blend in well for a much cleaner and more finished look. The picture above shows where it installs in your car and included below are the installation instructions to give you an idea of how difficult it is to install into your vehicle (also, the pdf manual is available above by clicking on the pdf icon). On some cars the VSM can be easily installed without tools in a few minutes, in some cars it requires more effort.
We highly recommend using the Pro-Fit Easy Swivel in addition to the mount for clearance and tilting.
TOOLS REQUIRED: #2 Phillips screwdriver, T-20 Torx driver (1997-2001 only)
PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSMTM, instructions.
LOCATION: Upper Right Corner of Dash
Please note the slight difference in the installation
procedure for 1997-01 T2000 models and 2002-04 models.
1997-2001 Models have (2) Torx screws holding the switch panel.
2002-2004 Models use Phillips screw instead of Torx.
STEP 1.
Locate the switch panel that is just above the radio. Using the Torx
driver, remove the two (2) Torx or Phillips screws that hold it in
place and carefully pull the panel away from the dash. Do not
disconnect any wiring. Install the phone holder onto the Pro.Fit
custom mount.
STEP 2.
Place the Pro.Fit VSMTM over the right screw hole behind the
panel. Place the panel back over the Pro.Fit VSMTM, aligning the
screw holes. Insert the two (2) factory Torx screws and tighten.
