Q: What is that part on the end of the extension cable?
A: The bulky piece at the end of the antenna cable is a signal booster that will boost the signal coming through the cable. It does NOT boost the antenna ability to receive signal.
Q: Do I have to drill a hole big enough for that square piece on the end of the cable to be fed into my house?
A: The piece on the end of the extension is a signal booster that is designed to be mounted outdoors. The other end of the cable is a regular SIRIUS antenna connector with a slightly larger antenna cable.
Q: I need more than 50 feet of extra antenna cable. Can I use more than one 50 ft Antenna Extension Cable?
A: Yes you can use up to 2 Antenna Extension Cables if needed without it affecting your signal.
Q: Can I cut and splice the SIRIUS 50 ft Antenna Extension Cable?
A: No, these cables cannot be spliced or repaired after being broken. The cost of repairing one of these cables would be far more expensive than getting a new one.
