Note: The SCVDOC1 requires a compatible Sirius Ready Headunit and an applicable Sirius Translator to work. See below for compatible translators.

The SCVDOC1 allows you to use your Universal Docking Compatible Dock and Play SIRIUS Receiver as the tuner for most SIRIUS Connect situations that require an SCC1 Connect Vehicle Tuner. This includes most integration kits for SIRIUS Ready aftermarket headunits and OEM XM to SIRIUS Conversions. Enjoy an integrated radio interface in your vehicle combined with the convenience and mobility of a Portable or Dock & Play radio without having to add a second subscription.

This Kit is ONLY compatible with radios that are compatible with the SiriusConnect platform and will require a compatible SiriusConnect Translator in order to work with your vehicle's radio. Please see below for possible configurations:

Connection Option 1:

For Sirius Ready or SAT Radio ready headunits with an 8-pin DIN jack you can connect the SCVDOC1 with the provided 8-Pin DIN cable. (NOTE: the headunit must be capable of directly communicating with the SCVDOC1 SiriusConnect Dock protocol.  Check your owner's manual for more information)

Connection Option 2:

Many Sirius Ready, SAT Radio ready, or select OEM headunits require an additional interface translator (sold separately).  In this case, you would need to connect the SCVDOC1 to the interface translator using the included SiriusConnect 8-pin DIN cable.  You then connect the translator to the headunit.

*** WARNING:  The SCVDOC1 interface allows your SiriusConnect Compatible Radio to be remotely controlled by your in-dash radio.  This will put your radio in 'SiriusConnect' mode and will lock-out all on-radio control while in the dock.  This means features like Replay, MP3 Playback, Game Alert, Scheduled Recording, Recorded Playback, will be disabled when your radio is in SCVDOC1. ***
