If you want to stick with the Sirius platform, the Starmate 8 is an excellent choice. The Starmate 8 allows you to pause, rewind and replay up to 30 minutes of live audio. It is also compatible with the newer car and home kits.

5 Volt Power Adapters:
All Starmate radios run on 5 volt power adapters. Please note that Starmate radios can fit on both "Universal"(Non-PowerConnect) as well as PowerConnect docks.
The Starmate radios are less likely to have pin connection issues, but if you are encountering these issues, we offer radio repairs.
FM Transmitter
As with any radio produced after 2005, the Starmate 8 radio has a weak FM transmitter.
